Educational Qualification


A. Professor

Candidates must have:

1.      Master's Degree with minimum 60% marks in the relevant field:

o    Information Technology

o    Marketing Management

o    Human Resource Management & Organisational Behaviour

o    General Management (PM & OR)

2.      Ph.D. from a reputed Indian or International University/Institution in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.

3.      An eminent scholar with published work of high quality in Web of Science / Scopus indexed Q1 or Q2 with an SJR score of 0.40 or above, or published in ABDC-A/ABS**, and actively engaged in research with evidence of high-quality published work.

4.      Minimum 10 years' experience as an Associate Professor in a University of repute or Research Institution.

5.      Minimum 8 research publications in peer-reviewed journals in Scopus / Web of Science / ABS / ABDC rank journals.

Publication counting rules

  • ABCD-A or ABS-2 article = 4 Scopus articles
  • ABDC B and ABS 1 = 2 Scopus articles
  • For Scopus, SJR score of 0.4 will be taken into account.
  • For Web of Science, Impact Factor of 1.0 will be taken into account.

B. Associate Professor

1.      Master's Degree with minimum 60% marks in the relevant field:

o    Information Technology

o    Marketing Management

o    Human Resource Management & Organisational Behaviour

o    General Management (PM & OR)

2.      Ph.D. from a reputed Indian or International University/Institution in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.

3.      Minimum 6 years' teaching experience as Assistant Professor/Deputy Director level.

4.      Minimum 6 publications in Scopus / Web of Science / ABS / ABDC rank journals.

The same publication-counting rules mentioned above apply:

  • ABDC-A or ABS-2 = 4 Scopus articles
  • ABDC B and ABS 1 = 2 Scopus articles
  • Scopus SJR = 0.4 considered
  • Web of Science Impact Factor = 1.0 considered.

 C. Assistant Professor

1.      Master's Degree with minimum 60% marks in the relevant field:

o    Information Technology

o    Marketing Management

o    Human Resource Management & Organisational Behaviour

o    General Management (PM & OR)

2.      Ph.D. from a top-rated University/Research Institution.

3.      Minimum 1–3 years teaching experience.

4.      Minimum 4 publications in Scopus / Web of Science / ABS / ABDC rank journals.

Publication counting rules:

  • ABDC-A or ABS-2 = 4 Scopus articles
  • ABDC B and ABS 1 = 2 Scopus articles
  • Scopus SJR = 0.4 considered

Crucial Date for Age

The crucial date for determining the age of candidates is the closing date prescribed for submission of online applications, unless otherwise provided under applicable rules/instructions.


Age Relaxation – Category-wise

The notification provides relaxation according to Government of India rules.

  • SC/ST: Up to 5 years
  • OBC: Up to 3 years
  • PwBD: Up to 10 years
  • PwBD + SC/ST: Maximum 15 years, including 5 years applicable to SC/ST.
  • PwBD + OBC: Maximum 13 years, including 3 years applicable to OBC.
  • PwBD relaxation is subject to the applicable maximum age limit of 56 years.
  • Ex-servicemen and other eligible categories: As per Government of India norms.

For reserved vacancies, candidates must possess valid certificates in the prescribed Central Government format. OBC-NCL candidates must belong to the Central List of OBCs and satisfy the Non-Creamy Layer criteria.


Selection Process / Recruitment Process

The recruitment process consists of:


Stage 1 – Screening & Shortlisting

Applications will be screened and candidates shortlisted based on information and documents submitted.

If applications are large in number, the Institute/Screening Committee may prescribe or apply higher/reasonable screening or shortlisting criteria.


Stage 2 – Demo Class

Shortlisted candidates will participate in a Demo Class.


Stage 3 – Research Presentation

Shortlisted candidates will participate in a Research Presentation.


Stage 4 – Personal Interview

Candidates shortlisted after the above stages will appear before the duly constituted Selection Committee/Selection Board for a Personal Interview.

Final Selection

Final selection will be made by the duly constituted Selection Committee/Selection Board according to the applicable SR&P Rules, 2026.

Participation in any stage does not confer a right to selection or appointment.

Eligibility

Reservation
