General Eligibility

• Retired officials from Central Government / State Government / PSU / Autonomous Bodies / Universities / Govt. R&D Organizations.
• Must possess practical knowledge and experience in relevant field.
• Experience in DRDO will be given preference.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.

POST-SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY

Post Code 336 (Technical – Pay Level 12)

Minimum Qualification:

• Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Experience:

• Minimum 35 years R&D experience.
• Experience in Electrical Integration, checkout, testing & evaluation of onboard power pack PCBs, flight cable harness, ground cable harness and ATGM missiles.
• Knowledge of Environmental testing methods.
• Experience in Transfer of Technology documentation.
• Strong knowledge in Electrical Integration Schemes.

Category of Work: Technical
Estimated Time Period: One year (extendable).

Post Code 337 (Admin – Pay Level 08)

Experience:

• Minimum 15 years in Project Administration, Accounting / Finance, Project Closure, Audit observations, Technical logistics.
• Knowledge of DPFM 2021, DRDO Procurement Manual and Delegation of Financial Powers.

Category of Work: Admin
Estimated Time Period: One year (extendable).

SELECTION PROCESS / RECRUITMENT PROCESS

• Selection based on eligibility criteria and Terms of Reference (TOR).
• Preference for candidates with DRDO experience.
• Applications screened.
• Appointment on contract basis.

PAY SCALE / REMUNERATION DETAILS

For Pensioners

Remuneration:

• Fixed monthly amount by deducting basic pension from last pay drawn.
• No annual increment during contract.

Conveyance Allowance:

• ₹3000/- up to Pay Level-11
• ₹5000/- up to Pay Level-12 to 14 and above

For Non-Pensioners

Pay Scale Rs. 80,000–2,20,000 → Level-12 → ₹60,000 remuneration + ₹5000 conveyance
Pay Scale Rs. 50,000–1,60,000 → Level-08 → ₹40,000 remuneration + ₹3000 conveyance

For Govt Employees retired under NPS

• 30% of last basic pay deducted.
• Remaining fixed as remuneration.
• Conveyance allowance same as above.

Other Allowances:

• No DA, Transport, Accommodation, CGHS, Medical reimbursement etc.
• TA/DA admissible for official travel as per grade.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS / TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Minimum 15 days gap required between retirement and appointment.
• Consultancy period: One year (extendable).
• Working hours same as lab.
• 1.5 days leave per completed month.
• No other benefits except remuneration & conveyance.
• Secretary DD (R&D) may terminate consultancy anytime.
• Consultant must follow NDA, Conduct Rules, Information Security Act.
• No private business allowed during consultancy.
• Incomplete / ineligible / late applications will be rejected.
• Applications sent to wrong address will be rejected automatically.
• Consultant shall not be considered re-employed.
• Pension and dearness relief continue for pensioners.
