Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed ITI in the relevant trade.
• Candidates certified under SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training) and NCVET (National Council for Vocational Education and Training) are included.
• Candidates must possess the requisite educational and physical qualifications, if any, prescribed for the respective trade under applicable apprenticeship norms of NAPS 2.0.

Apprenticeship Portal Registration

Registration on the Apprenticeship Portal is mandatory.

Candidates who are not registered on the portal will not be considered.

Age Limit

Candidates must have attained the prescribed minimum age and must not exceed the prescribed maximum age applicable under the Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and applicable guidelines, as amended from time to time.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection will be made as follows:

1.      Candidates will initially be considered on the basis of marks obtained in the respective qualifying examination/trade.

2.      Depending upon the number of applicants, an interaction/interview may be conducted.

3.      The final merit list will be prepared category-wise, as applicable for General/OBC/SC/ST.

4.      A duly constituted Board approved by the Competent Authority will scrutinize applications and shortlist candidates according to eligibility, selection criteria and available vacancies.

5.      Offer letters to selected candidates will be issued through email only.

Pay Scale / Stipend Details

This is an apprenticeship engagement, and the PDF specifies a minimum stipend:

• Steward: ₹9,600/- per month
• Desktop Publishing Operator: ₹9,600/- per month
• Secretariat Assistant – English/Hindi: ₹9,600/- per month
• Photographer: ₹10,560/- per month
• COPA: ₹9,600/- per month
• IT / IT ESM: ₹10,560/- per month
• Multimedia & Web Page Designer: ₹9,600/- per month

The prescribed stipend will be paid monthly through the prescribed banking mode. Selected candidates must provide valid bank account details linked with Aadhaar, wherever required.

How to Apply – Step by Step

Method 1: Apprenticeship Portal

1.      Visit the Apprenticeship Portal: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in

2.      Candidates must be registered on the portal.

3.      Search for the concerned establishment using Establishment Code: E08260700022.

4.      Select the relevant apprenticeship trade.

5.      Apply for the concerned trade through the portal.

Method 2: Email Application

1.      Fill the prescribed application form enclosed with the advertisement.

2.      Attach the required documents/certificates.

3.      Scan the duly filled application form and documents.

4.      Convert/submit the scanned documents in PDF format.

5.      Send them only through email to:

6.      Submit the application before the closing date.

Documents Required

The PDF indicates the following documents/information:

• Caste Certificate, wherever applicable
• NATS/NAPS Enrolment proof

Selected candidates must bring original educational qualification documents, ITI certificate, caste certificate wherever applicable and other relevant documents at the time of joining.

The application form specifically asks for NATS/NAPS Enrolment No. with proof and details of educational qualifications and experience.

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

Apprenticeship Duration

The advertisement states that the apprenticeship training duration for the mentioned trades is 12 months and is not extendible.

Communication

All correspondence, including offer letters, will be made through email only. Candidates should provide a valid and functional email ID and check it regularly.

Apprenticeship Contract

The apprenticeship contract between the apprentice and employer will be executed online through the NAPS-Apprenticeship Portal under the Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and applicable guidelines.

Police Verification

Selected candidates must submit a Police Verification Certificate after joining, as required by the establishment.

Original Documents

Original documents must be brought at the time of joining. Any discrepancy, deviation or non-conformity in the documents may result in rejection of candidature.

Eligibility Responsibility

Candidates must ensure that they satisfy the Essential Qualification Requirements (EQR) and all other eligibility criteria before applying.

False Information

Suppression or misrepresentation of any material fact can result in disqualification/cancellation of candidature at any stage of the selection or apprenticeship process.

Canvassing

Any canvassing or personal follow-up intended to influence the selection process, directly or indirectly, will lead to cancellation of candidature.

Change in Vacancies

DIPR reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of apprenticeship vacancies according to its requirements.

Cancellation of Advertisement

DIPR reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the advertisement or selection process if circumstances warrant, without assigning any reason.

Assessment After Training

After completing the prescribed apprenticeship period, apprentices will undergo assessment according to the applicable assessment procedure. Assessment marks and attendance will be uploaded on the Apprenticeship Portal. Results will be considered for generation/issuance of the National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC), as applicable.

Accommodation / Transport

DIPR will not provide government quarters, hostel accommodation or transport facilities during the apprenticeship period.

Apprentice Status

An apprentice will be treated as a trainee and not as a worker, subject to the provisions specified under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

No Guaranteed Employment

Completion of apprenticeship does not confer any right to regular employment or extension of apprenticeship at DIPR. DIPR has no obligation to offer employment after completion of training.

Jurisdiction

Any dispute or litigation concerning the apprenticeship training/selection process will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Delhi.
