Educational Qualification

Applicants must satisfy any one of the following:

Option 1

• Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B.E./B.Tech.) in First Division with NET/GATE.

Option 2

• Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (M.E./M.Tech.) in First Division at both Graduate and Post Graduate levels.

Option 3

• Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science in First Division with NET Qualification.

Desirable Qualification

Candidates should have:

• Strong fundamentals in problem solving, algorithm design and complexity analysis.
• Expertise in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++ or similar).
• Knowledge of classical AI algorithms, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, TensorRT, PyTorch Mobile.

Additionally, comprehensive knowledge in any one of the following:

• Speech Recognition & Natural Language Processing (NLP)/Machine Translation.
• 3D Vision, SLAM and ROS.
• Computer Vision including Generative Models.
• Reinforcement Learning.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 28 years
• Age calculated as on the date of interview.
• Age and educational qualification shall be determined as on the last date for submission of application.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

The selection process consists of:

1.      Shortlisting based on:

o    GATE Score, or

o    Percentage of marks in qualifying degree.

2.      Personal Interview or Online Interview.

3.      Interview may be conducted:

o    At DYSL-AI, Bengaluru, or

o    Through Video Conferencing.

4.      Date and time will be communicated separately through Speed Post/Email.

5.      Decision of the Director and Selection Committee shall be final and binding.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

• Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month
• HRA: Applicable (Presently 30%)
• Total Monthly Emoluments: ₹48,100
• If accommodation is provided, HRA will be deducted.

• Fellowship is purely temporary.
• No right of absorption in DRDO.
• Candidates previously awarded JRF in any DRDO Laboratory are not eligible.
• Government/PSU/Autonomous Body employees must apply through proper channel.
• One-month notice required for resignation or termination.
• DYSL-AI reserves the right to amend, modify or cancel the advertisement.
• Number of fellowships may increase, decrease or be cancelled.
• Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
• Only Degree/Provisional Degree holders are eligible.
• Candidates must arrange their own stay and travel.
• Original documents must be produced during interview.
• Supporting document for CGPA conversion is mandatory.
• Selected fellows may register for Part-Time Ph.D. with approval of DYSL-AI.
• No TA/DA will be paid for interview or joining.
