Educational Qualification

Graduate Apprentice

• B.E./B.Tech in the concerned discipline from a recognized University.

Technician Apprentice

• Diploma in the respective discipline from a recognized State Board.

Commercial Practice Apprentice

• Diploma in Commercial Practice from a recognized Board.

Additional Eligibility

Candidates who passed during:

• 2022
• 2023
• 2024
• 2025
• 2026

are eligible.

Candidates passed before 2021 are not eligible.

Only regular candidates are eligible.

Selection Process / Recruitment Process

Selection will be based on:

1.      Shortlisting on percentage/academic marks.

2.      Document Verification.

3.      Preparation of merit panel based on Degree/Diploma academic scores.

4.      Apprentices will be inducted strictly according to panel ranking.

5.      Selected candidates will be informed only through email.

No Travelling Allowance will be paid for document verification.

Pay Scale / Salary Details

Graduate Apprentice

₹12,300 per month

Technician Apprentice

₹10,900 per month

Commercial Practice Apprentice

₹10,900 per month

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

1.      Visit the NATS Portal.

2.      Register yourself on the NATS Portal.

3.      Upload:

o    Degree/Diploma Certificate

o    Government-issued ID

4.      Receive Enrolment Number/Apprenticeship Registration Number.

5.      Ensure Aadhaar is linked with your bank account and DBT enabled.

6.      Visit the UMANG Portal.

7.      Register/Login.

8.      Search URSC Apprenticeship.

9.      Select the apprenticeship position.

10. Fill the application form.

11. Enter the NATS Enrolment Number.

12. Upload required documents.

13. Submit the application.

Documents Required

• Degree/Diploma Marksheets of all semesters (single file, max 1 MB)
• Degree/Diploma Certificate / Provisional Certificate / Passing Certificate (max 1 MB)
• Government-issued ID
• Photograph (JPG/JPEG/PNG, max 50 KB)
• Signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG, max 50 KB)
• Latest SC/ST/OBC Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• PwBD Certificate (if applicable)
• Income & Asset Certificate for EWS (2025–26) (if applicable)
• Original educational certificates during verification
• Proof of Date of Birth
• Testimonials
• Educational Qualification Certificates
• Medical Fitness Certificate at joining
• Unique Disability Identity Card (PwBD candidates with 40% or more disability)

Important Instructions / Terms & Conditions

• Only Indian Nationals can apply.
• Valid email ID is mandatory.
• Only one application per email ID.
• Multiple applications for the same discipline: only the latest application will be considered.
• Aadhaar must be linked with bank account for DBT.
• Photograph and signature must be clear.
• Incorrect information will lead to cancellation.
• Candidates who already completed apprenticeship or are undergoing apprenticeship are not eligible.
• Candidates with one year or more experience are not eligible.
• Sandwich course/private degree/short-term certificate candidates are not eligible.
• Candidates pursuing higher studies are not eligible.
• Apprenticeship duration is 12 months.
• Apprentices must execute an Apprenticeship Contract.
• No claim for permanent employment after completion of apprenticeship.
• Original certificates will be verified at joining.
• No lodging, boarding or TA will be provided for document verification.
• Canvassing will lead to disqualification.
• Any corrigendum/addendum will be published only on the ISRO/URSC website.
• In case of any ambiguity, the English version of the notification will prevail.
